When considering replacing windows, lots of customers see aluminium as a good option. Sleek, durable, thinner sight lines on the windows are all attractive. The colour options are also unlimited, as all frames are powder costed.
Aluminium is however significantly more expensive than PVCu, hence why you see more PVCu than anything else. The following is a don’t pay more than guide, in order to not overpay for what is a premium product.
The below is an example of a fitted aluminium window.
The below cost table represents a standard aluminium casement window. This is not for “crittal style” or the plethora of premium options out there. They will likely cost more on the upper end of the price ranges. N.B. Standard colours, usually a wide range would all likely be the same cost. Ask for recommendations from friends, and always get at least a couple of quotes.
